Position: Spanish Instructor Tutor All Levels Up to AP

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking to hire an experienced Spanish Instructor/Tutor (All Levels) to provide instruction for our non-Spanish speaking students from Beginner Spanish to AP Level Spanish. In our small classroom or one-on-one environment, this tutor will be dedicated to the student, thanks to the personalized learning environment. Our goal is to foster an environment where our students can demonstrate what they learn during their tutoring sessions.

This position is part-time and will require you to come in-person in our campus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field from an accredited college or university (required)

Master's degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field from an accredited college or university (preferred)

2 years experience as a Spanish instructor or tutor (required)

MUST be able to teach ALL levels of Spanish (from beginner to AP level)

Successful track record of helping students in learning Spanish

Professional communication skills (both spoken and written)

Competent in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Able to work independently and collaborate with a team

Enthusiastic about working with students and parents

Able to maintain strict confidentiality

Highly organized and detail-oriented (attention to detail and accuracy is imperative)

Ability to meet schedules and deadlines

Good judgment and decision-making abilities

Good problem-solving skills

Good planning skills

Highly responsive

Highly proactive

Highly reliable

Integrity

JOB DUTIES:

Prepare students for AP Spanish examinations

Teach material on all levels of Spanish

Motivate and encourage students

Develop and deliver comprehensive Spanish content

Adaptable to one-to-one or small group classes

Assess students' needs and provide extra support in any lacking areas

Provide homework help as needed

Able to lead a classroom of students effectively and work efficiently with students

Good classroom management skills
