Senior Embedded Engineer – Orange County (4x a week)
Motion Recruitment is hiring a Senior Embedded Engineer for a full‑time position in Irvine, CA. The role is for a dynamic hardware company that emphasizes a family‑oriented culture, regular team‑building events, and a balanced work life.
Responsibilities• Develop and maintain firmware in C, C++, Python, Linux, and Bare Metals for AI‑powered hardware applications targeted at an end‑user base of ~25,000.
• Work with a 4–5 person team on a mix of AI and hardware‑related projects, sometimes involving sensors, Bluetooth, RTOS, and RF.
Qualifications- 5+ years of professional experience in C, C++, Linux, and Bare Metals.
- Experience architecting sensor‑based systems.
- Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Preferred: experience with RTOS, BLE, and RF.
