- Inspection, analysis and determination of root causes of structural performance failures
- Performing quantitative risk analysis for structures
- Preparing technical reports and presentations
- Establishing professional expertise through continued professional development
- Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering focus or related field
- P.E. or S.E. license or ability to become licensed
- Excellent creative problem‑solving ability
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as lead and collaborate in multi‑disciplinary teams
- Ability to gather information from and convey technical conclusions to engineering, business, and industry stakeholders
