Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Sr. Electrical Test & Validation Engineer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the EPS Test & Sustaining Engineering Manager
, the Sr. Electrical Test & Validation Engineer will be on the forefront of innovative designs to maintain power to satellites in space.
- Own development of test boxes, PCBA testers, harnesses and all materials needed to execute on component level validation activities.
- Develop specifications related to validation of modules from prototype phase to supporting mission launches.
- Conduct PCBA and Module level design validation to standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot system level failures encountered and analyze for root cause analysis using core principles of design.
- Support and work cross functionally with integrated test teams with test set up and execution.
- Participate in design reviews with design for quality mindset.
- Participate and contribute in DFMEAs for new module designs.
- BS Electrical Engineering or Related Field
- 5 years’ experience in a module test environment including test procedure creation and execution.
- Familiarity with reviewing schematics.
- Able to demonstrate ability to use lab equipment such as scopes, DAQs and Soldering Equipment.
- Passion to innovate and improve upon the status quo.
- Willingness to push outside your comfort zone in the pursuit of learning and growing the future of power storage in space.
- U.S. Person or lawful permanent resident to comply with U.S. government space technology export regulations.
$110,000 – $150,000 USD

Physical DemandsAn employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
