Job Overview
Designs and develops hardware products, including electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, mechanical systems, equipment, packaging, optical and DSP systems. Evaluates materials reliability, plans, designs and develops electronic parts and systems. Strong project management skills and functional breadth and depth in complementary fields.
Key Responsibilities- Lead design and delivery of new products/processes.
- Lead major projects and programs, influencing priorities and other activities.
- Serve as escalation point for complex issues.
- Design, evaluate, test and monitor electronic components and systems.
- Select components based on reliability and specifications.
- Review vendor capability to support product development.
- Network with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
- Coach and mentor junior team members.
- Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and set priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience; post‑graduate coursework may be desirable.
- Extensive experience in high‑speed analog circuit design, including:
- High‑Speed (10 Gbps) ADC and DAC Design
- High‑Speed (28 GHz) Low‑Jitter (100 fs‑rms) PLL Design
- High Linearity (1‑3 % THD) Low‑Noise TIA and Laser Driver Design
- Equalization Techniques for Backplanes and Optical Links
- High‑Speed Low Latency Clock & Data Recovery Circuits
The annual base salary range for this position is $108,000 – $172,800. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
