Role SummaryAs a Dynamics Controls Engineer, you will work on embedded software for vehicle dynamics and associated features. You will work closely with systems and test engineers across the full life cycle of feature development, including research, development, and testing. You will work in a fast paced environment to solve many interesting engineering problems with an emphasis on safety.
Responsibilities- Design and test software for vehicle dynamics controls
- Work with systems engineers to define requirements
- Work with integration engineers to thoroughly test code before deployment
- Contribute to automated test framework for Unit, SIL, HIL, and Cloud
- Develop simulation models uses for software in the loop testing of propulsion controls
- Field test prototype software in development, with 2-5 weeks of travel per year
- Minimum Bachelor of Science degree (Masters Preferred) in mechanical engineering, software engineering, or related fields
- Hands on-engineering experience
- Proficient in software development processes and relevant tools
- Proficiency with C/C++ and Python
