Black & Veatch is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established and expanding water/wastewater team in Southern California.

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading our State and Local Government and Water business with clients in Northern California. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing client and pursuit strategies, relationship management, leading business development activities, overall business financial management, contract management, and ensuring client satisfaction. The Client Director is accountable for meeting new business and earnings financial goals;

development of strong relationships with clients, teaming partners and contractors; driving business development; and selling the Black &Veatch full suite of services.

• Prepare and implement Client Development Plans for assigned clients
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, business partners, and competitors
• Develop client and pursuit strategies
• Lead or support proposal development
• Make Go / No Go decisions or recommendations and assist with preparation of Proposal Review Board documents
• Serve as the Client Director and provide leadership to project and pursuit teams
• Meet new business and earnings financial goals
• Manage assigned business development budget

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field
• Prefer 15+ years professional experience managing a multi-disciplinary team to deliver new business for water and wastewater utility and state and local government projects
