As part of the Thermal Sciences Practice, you will participate in the investigation and analysis of thermal-fluid/mechanical systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing engineering calculations and analysis
- Evaluating mechanical and safety system performance
- Utilizing computational techniques such as CFD
- Conducting site fieldwork and data collection
- Performing laboratory testing and assessments
- Preparing proposals, technical reports, and presenting findings to clients
- Travel may be required within and outside the U.S.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; no immigration sponsorship necessary
- Strong technical background in thermal/fluid systems and CFD
- Experience with HVAC and Refrigeration systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Hands‑on experience executing experimental programs
- Strong desire and ability to tackle a wide variety of problems

Benefits & CompensationBase salary: USD $135,000 – $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Total compensation includes salary, performance bonuses, 401(k) employer contribution of 7%, and other benefits available to the consulting workforce.
