ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Designing High-Tech Enterprise Solid‑State Drive PCB Rigid and Rigid Flex Layouts
- Collaborating with many Engineering Functional Teams – Mechanical, SI/PI, Thermal, and TCT specialists
- Working with teams across the globe – India, Malaysia, Israel, Korea
- Ability to complete PCB Designs from Schematic Netlist input to finished ODB++/Gerber files
- Work with Overseas vendors to close on DFM’s and Fabrication questions
- Investigate and brainstorm on best‑in‑class design methodologies – materials, process, and tools
- Board complexities include constraint managed routing of DDR, PCIE, and NAND busses. Multiple Micro Vias configurations with blind and through hole vias.
Required:
- Minimum 5 years PCB Layout experience on complex HDI designs. Allegro experience is helpful.
- Must be a self starter and team player
- System Capture and EDM library experience is a plus
- Flexibility and creativity in solving packaging and routing challenges
- Valuable contributing team member to work with other advanced team members
- Proficiency in Cadence Allegro PCB Layout tool with 5+ years’ experience
