Our client, an industry leader in aerospace and avionics, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior EMC Compliance Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior EMC Compliance Engineer, you will be an integral part of the engineering department supporting compliance testing and certification activities.
Job Title: Senior EMC Compliance Engineer
Location: Irvine, California
What's the Job?- Lead and execute RTCA DO-160G compliance testing for avionics products.
- Perform and support EMI/EMC, Environmental, and Safety Compliance testing.
- Analyze test failures, perform root cause investigations, and drive corrective actions.
- Coordinate and support product qualification and certification activities.
- Prepare test documentation, compliance reports, and certification packages.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in EMC/EMI and Environmental Compliance testing.
- Experience with avionics industry standards and RTCA DO-160G compliance testing.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, qualification activities, and safety compliance testing.
- Understanding of certification and regulatory submission processes, including FCC and other compliance bodies.
