What's the one game you couldn't put down? The game that connected you with friends, and made you feel like you belonged? If a game has ever defined a chapter of your life, then you already know the spark we’re chasing. Our mission is to ignite that same feeling for players; the thrill of competition, the joy of community, and the belonging of finding your own corner of a larger world.

Great games begin with people who dare to dream big. If that sounds exciting, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

Bonfire is a group of experienced and ambitious developers, proud to be creating our first original IP:
Arkheron
. It is a fast‑paced, competitive PVP game set in a surreal dark fantasy world where 15 teams of three battle their way up the Tower. In a world built from memories, you will loot powerful items to create and adapt a unique build‑out that will change your strategy and combat experience with every Ascension.

At Bonfire, we believe that great games are built on more than features - they’re built on insight, tools, and infrastructure that let teams create the unexpected. Our platform group builds the invisible scaffolding that powers Arkheron and future projects: analytics, community tooling, martech systems, data pipelines, and integrations that help developers move faster with clarity instead of friction.

If you love connecting data, product thinking, and technical systems (and you get energized by unlocking better player experiences from behind the scenes) this could be a great role for you!

YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE BY:
  • Leading product direction for internal platform systems by shaping roadmap, priorities, and long‑term vision.
  • Turning raw data into meaningful signals that guide decisions, including partnering closely with analytics and insights to uncover opportunities and run experiments that move player‑impacting metrics.
  • Prioritizing work based on downstream value for game teams, publishing, and players while focusing on impact over shine.
  • Defining product requirements for martech capabilities such as campaign engines, triggers, segmentation, and player messaging workflows.
  • Connecting platform features to studio‑wide goals; whether that's powering community‑facing experiences or strengthening internal pipelines (data flows, onboarding, cross‑product signals).
  • Partnering with engineers and technical leads to scope features, align on feasibility, and ensure systems are scalable and maintainable.
  • Collaborating with Arkheron’s development team by advocating for platform needs without dictating game decisions.
  • Working hand‑in‑hand with design and UX to create tools that are intuitive, usable, and delightful for developers.
WE’RE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU:
  • Bring 5+ years of experience in product, analytics, or another data‑driven discipline, with 2+ years directly shaping platform, infrastructure, or internal tooling products.
  • Turn data into insight. You have strong analytical instincts and know how to use metrics, telemetry, and experimentation to inform direction.
  • Have hands‑on experience with martech systems like campaign engines, message routing, segmentation, and attribution tooling.
  • Understand modern community tech ecosystems (ie: Discord integrations, bots, guild/role systems, and ways players connect).
  • Speak engineering fluently, and you’re comfortable discussing APIs, data pipelines, telemetry, and scoping feasibility with technical partners.
  • Navigate competing needs gracefully by balancing input from game teams, publishing, analytics, and design without losing sight of what delivers the most value.
  • Communicate clearly, whether async or live, and build strong relationships across disciplines.
  • Respect and collaborate deeply with design. You value usability, craft, and bringing UX and product thinking together.
THIS MIGHT NOT BE THE ROLE FOR YOU IF:
  • You want lots of process and structure already in place.
  • You prefer player‑facing product over internal platforms + tooling.
  • Data, telemetry, and experimentation aren't core to how you make decisions.
  • You shy away from technically complex domains or API/data discussions.
  • Balancing competing stakeholder needs drains…
