Senior Tax Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join their team. Expected starting base salary of $180,000 to $200,000 per year.

Location:

Irvine, CA.

• Manage the preparation and review of annual and quarterly income tax provisions and SEC disclosures.
• Oversee quarterly effective tax rate forecasts, data analytics, and modeling.
• Coordinate federal, state, and local tax compliance processes to ensure timely and accurate filings.
• Handle tax audits by preparing responses to IDRs and managing issues effectively.
• Perform tax research, monitor legislative changes, and communicate impacts to the organization.

• Demonstrate strong technical and analytical skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Utilize proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Apply knowledge of tax accounting standards such as ASC 740 and US GAAP.
• Manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with internal teams and external advisors.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA or Master’s in Taxation preferred.
• 8+ years of corporate tax experience in public accounting or industry.
• Possess experience with One Source provision software and ERP systems such as Oracle.
• Exhibit strong organizational and project management skills.
• Operate with integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail in all tasks.
