Senior Tax Manager – Century Group

Join us as a Senior Tax Manager and lead tax compliance and consulting initiatives for operating partnerships, real estate partnerships, and S‑C‑orps.

Compensation: Expected starting base salary of $170,000 to $225,000 per year.

• Prepare and review tax returns for operating partnerships, real estate partnerships, and S-Corps.
• Oversee work performed by outside tax service providers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Manage workflow and teams effectively to meet deadlines and participate in structured meetings.
• Conduct tax research and implement strategies to minimize tax burden and comply with new regulations.
• Respond to federal, state, and local tax inquiries and audit requests promptly and professionally.

• Demonstrate proficiency in current tax laws and ability to perform special tax projects.
• Utilize tax software tools such as Thomson Reuters One Source and Microsoft Excel effectively.
• Apply strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities under strict deadlines.
• Adopt new technology tools and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain effective control processes over all aspects of the tax function.

• Hold a bachelor's degree in Tax or Accounting with at least 12 years of tax compliance and consulting experience.
• Possess a minimum of seven years of managerial experience in tax and a CPA or EA license.
• Bring experience managing a team of tax professionals and mentoring staff.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Display strong analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
