Sr. Tax Manager

Senior Tax Manager (Public Accounting) Hybrid

Growing CPA firm is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join their team. The position offers diverse experience, challenging work, quality of life balance, superior leadership & mentorship, and great work culture.

Work for client base of closely and privately held corporations of various sizes from small to large, and multi‑state.

Manage corporate client needs with respect to tax services and federal and state tax compliance. Proficient in corporate taxation and consolidated tax returns. Work will be a wide variety of entities including C‑Corp, S‑Corp, LLC, flow‑through. Handle federal tax issues bringing the experience and commitment necessary to deliver tax compliance and advisory services to help meet our clients' specific needs. Be responsible for compliance, research, tax credits, fixed asset review, M&A due diligence and acquisition & disposition planning.

Assist in the calculation of FAS 109 tax provisions. Develop and sustain excellent client relationships. Keep up‑to‑date on current tax practices and changes in tax law.

• Five years of experience in corporate tax.
• Excellent advisory and compliance skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information.

• the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
• licensure and certification requirements;
• office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
