Credit Bureau Analyst

• Credit Bureau Analyst experience with strong PL/SQL skills.
• 2–5 years of experience in credit bureau reporting or financial data analysis.
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and relational database management (Oracle preferred).
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with Metro 2 format and credit reporting regulations (FCRA).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in banking or financial services industry.
• Knowledge of ETL tools and data warehousing concepts.
• Exposure to regulatory audits and compliance reporting.
• Prepare, validate, and submit monthly credit bureau files in compliance with FCRA and Metro 2 standards.
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in credit reporting data.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Perform root cause analysis on data anomalies and implement corrective actions.
• Optimize database queries for performance and accuracy.
• Reconcile credit reporting data with general ledger and accounting records.
• Ensure accurate financial representation of credit accounts.
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing processes related to credit reporting.
• Identify gaps in reporting processes and recommend automation or enhancements.
• Document procedures and maintain compliance audit trails.
