THE OPPORTUNITY

Branch Support Officers represent our Bank to the community and make our customers feel welcome, assisting clients by providing a superior level of service with their financial transactions. They will also be responsible for quality control assignments, promoting the Bank's services, and supporting the daily service and operations within the branch, through expanded knowledge and customer service. The Branch Support Officers are required to travel between temporary assignments at branch offices within a designated region.

They are responsible for processing cash and non‑cash transactions in accordance with company policy and procedures, providing superior customer service. Mileage will be paid for travel between assignments. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
  • Actively involved in quality control for assigned region.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities, when appropriate, in accordance with the Bank’s policies.
  • Plan and schedule the daily workflow and coordinate with other areas as required to ensure compliance with service standards and regulatory deadlines.
  • Assure high quality and friendly customer service and adherence to sales and brand standards.
  • Resolve customer inquiries/complaints and situations in a positive professional and efficient manner.
  • Promote effective sales and service environment.
  • Monitor Tellers’ performance relative to losses, differences and referrals. When appropriate, coach for improved performance.
  • Approve transactions within established guidelines.
  • Participate in the opening and closing of branch. Conduct security inspection of building and grounds under dual control.
  • Review daily reports and monthly certifications.
  • Support branch in the achievement of satisfactory audit ratings.
  • Identify and mitigate audit ratings.
  • Involved with interviewing and hiring decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver employee performance evaluations, goal planning and counseling.
  • Manage, support, coach and train staff.
  • Treat people with respect; keep commitments; inspire the trust of others; work ethically and with integrity; uphold organizational values; accept responsibility for own actions.
