Financial Analyst

Position Overview:
The Financial Analyst consultant will play a key role in supporting our ERP implementation. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide recommendations to management.
• Assist with ERP implementation projects, ensuring alignment with financial reporting and operational needs.
• Apply ASC 606 revenue recognition standards to financial reporting, with emphasis on manufacturing contracts and deliverables.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Collaborate with operations, accounting, and leadership teams to enhance visibility into performance drivers.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of reporting.
• Provide ad-hoc financial modeling, scenario analysis, and decision support to management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP with direct experience in ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Prior ERP implementation experience required
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus.
• Experience with managing large data sets is required
• Familiarity with business intelligence or data visualization tools.
