What You’ll Do
The Vice President, Corporate Finance is a senior finance leader responsible for providing financial leadership and strategic decision support to executive management. They own the company’s operating and financial planning cadence—including forecasting, annual planning, long‑range modeling, and KPI management in a public‑company environment—ensuring executives and the Board receive timely, accurate, and actionable insights. The role oversees Corporate Finance, Strategic Finance, Operational Finance, and Sales Finance, acting as a central integrator across the business.
They partner closely with the SVP and EVP of Finance & Accounting, the CFO, and executive leadership to support earnings readiness, Board and investor materials, external financial messaging, and the company’s long‑term strategic objectives.
This position is both strategic and hands‑on, requiring a leader who can operate at a high altitude while remaining deeply engaged in day‑to‑day execution. The VP leads complex analyses, critical work streams, and serves as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across Sales, Product, Operations, and Marketing. They bring strong investment banking or equivalent strategic finance experience, a “figure‑it‑out” mindset, and the ability to lead and motivate teams in a high‑intensity setting.
A core mandate is to strengthen execution, scalability, and rigor across the finance organization by continuously challenging processes, identifying risks and bottlenecks, and leveraging technology, automation, and AI‑enabled tools to improve speed, accuracy, and insight quality. They build and develop a high‑performing finance team, establish clear operating rhythms and accountability, and foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and high standards.
Day‑to‑DayResponsibilities
- Own company‑wide financial planning, forecasting, and long‑range modeling (quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, multi‑year outlooks)
- Lead development of financial materials for executive leadership, including Board presentations, earnings‑related analysis, investor messaging, and ad hoc strategic reviews
- Partner closely with the CFO, SVP, and EVP of Finance & Accounting to support external financial communications and key stakeholder narratives
- Oversee strategic finance initiatives such as product economics, pricing analysis, partnership and M&A evaluations, investment decision support, and valuation modeling
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor to senior leaders across Sales, Product, Operations, and Marketing, translating complex analyses into clear, actionable insights
- Lead Sales Finance in partnership with Sales, Revenue Operations, and HR to support revenue forecasting, performance analysis, incentive compensation modeling, and strategic sales initiatives
- Oversee Operational Finance to ensure strong KPI reporting, trend analysis, and a clear connection between operational performance and financial outcomes
- Drive disciplined execution across multiple work streams, establishing clear processes, milestones, and communication cadences while proactively managing risks and dependencies
- Continuously improve finance workflows by identifying inefficiencies and championing automation and AI‑enabled tools to enhance speed, accuracy, and scalability
- Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing finance organization, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and cross‑functional collaboration
- Investment banking or equivalent strategic finance background
- Experience operating in a publicly traded, high‑growth environment
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiencies and process improvements in complex, fast‑moving environments
- Proven ability to thrive in a high‑intensity, rapidly changing environment
