School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant; COTA

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of California
• Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings, with strong understanding of student-centered therapy approaches
• Proficient interpersonal and collaborative communication skills to work effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt intervention strategies to meet diverse student needs and learning styles

• Support implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) by delivering targeted occupational therapy services
• Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to foster students' academic and developmental growth
• Assist with evaluations and documentation, tracking progress and adapting plans based on students goals
• Educate staff and families on strategies and accommodations that benefit students participation and success within the classroom setting
• Maintain thorough and timely records while adhering to best practices in compliance and confidentiality
