Job Summary:

Eggs Unlimited is seeking a business-minded, hands-on Director of Human Resources for our Irvine, CA office. This leader will align people strategy with the business objectives of a rapidly growing company that is aggressively expanding its capabilities, leadership bench, business reach, and organizational scale.

The ideal candidate thinks like a business leader and has helped an organization scale through major growth in headcount, revenue, complexity, new business lines, geographic reach, or acquisitions. This role requires competitive intensity and urgency toward growth, execution, problem-solving, and winning, while maintaining respect and professionalism in all people interactions.

The right person will help develop exceptional leaders, compliment efforts to help retain top talent, build scalable infrastructure, and favors practical solutions over bureaucracy. The Director will advise executives, lead significant people and organizational matters, and assist in developing a People Generalist who owns routine HR operations, payroll and benefits administration, onboarding, employee support, and basic employee relations.

Core Responsibilities:

Business Partnership, Commercial Alignment & Scale
  • Align people strategy, organizational priorities, and workforce investment with commercial goals, customers, revenue growth, profitability, and execution

  • Help build people infrastructure ahead of aggressive expansion, including new markets, business lines, acquisitions, and major increases in headcount and complexity
  • Bring appropriate business aggression, competitive intensity, and urgency to HR while favoring practical, business-enabling solutions over unnecessary bureaucracy
Culture, Leadership & Performance
  • Reinforce a culture built on strong values and exceptional business results
  • Coach leaders to build high-performing, results-oriented teams with clear accountability and measurable performance expectations
  • Lead practical performance management, reviews, leadership development, retention, and timely action on performance concerns
  • Balance high standards with respect, transparency, recognition, employee engagement, and genuine care for employees
Succession Planning & Business Continuity
  • Help lead succession planning for all key leadership and business-critical roles, protecting critical knowledge, leadership capability, and business continuity
  • Establish successors, readiness assessments, development milestones, owners, and timelines; drive timely execution and report risks and progress to leadership
Mergers, Acquisitions & Change Management
  • Lead the people aspects of M&A, including HR due diligence, organizational and leadership assessment, critical-talent and culture risks, and change management
  • Execute post-acquisition integration across leadership, structure, communication, culture, systems, and talent—on time and while maintaining business continuity
Employee Relations, Culture & HR Leadership
  • Lead complex employee relations, investigations, conflict resolution, performance actions, and employment-risk matters in partnership with Legal and leadership
  • Set strategy for recognition, engagement, employee communication, company events, and culture-building initiatives
  • Help lead and develop the People Generalist; oversee payroll, benefits, onboarding, HR systems, policies, compliance, metrics, and controls without owning routine transactions
  • Use workforce and performance data to guide decisions, manage risk, and measure progress; operate with urgency and take issues through resolution
  • Travel occasionally based on business needs, including domestic travel and international travel to the Philippines
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of progressive HR leadership or HR Business Partner experience, including advising executives and managers
  • Commercial experience in a high-growth, sales-driven, customer-focused, or operationally intensive business
  • Demonstrated success aligning people strategy with growth, profitability, customer outcomes, and business execution
