Role focus:
Provide desktop support by applying professional business and technical concepts to resolve hardware, software, and networking issues of moderate scope and complexity for a broad range of applications. Work within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
- Provide desktop and laptop hardware, software, and peripheral support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and networking for a broad range of applications.
- Install software and hardware as required; communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Previous experience troubleshooting and supporting desktop and laptop devices, and accessories/peripherals.
- Previous experience installing software and hardware.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Temporary Employment:
This is a temporary position recruited by UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES). Interviews and hires are based on internal needs and candidate experience. Some assignments may require a health screening or a valid California Driver’s License. Most temporary roles are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional part-time, weekend, or evening hours. We recruit on an ongoing basis to build a talent pool.
