• Master Varnish Technology: Gain expertise in Varnish Cache and VCL.
• Drive Operations Excellence: Manage daily operations such as monitoring, patching, bug fixes, and ticket resolution, while driving improvements and automations.
• Innovate Solutions: Collaborate on tailored customer projects, enhance monitoring and operational tools, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our managed services, ensuring they remain robust, efficient, and aligned with customer needs.
• Be a Key Contributor: Support Private CDN partners and Managed Service customers with onboarding, VCL configuration, and proactive maintenance. Participate in a paid 24x7 on‑call rotation to ensure seamless operations and customer success.

  Serve as a pre‑sales technical consultant when needed, showcasing our solutions' capabilities.
• Take part in a support rotation for existing customers: At Varnish Software, we embrace a collaborative approach through an 8x5 support rotation, delivering exceptional customer support while providing you with hands‑on opportunities to broaden your expertise and tackle diverse technical challenges.

• 3-5 years of Dev Ops experience, within a Git structured team environment.
• Strong Linux expertise (Debian and/or Red Hat based distributions).
• Proficiency with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and configuration management (e.g., Ansible and Terraform).
• Solid understanding of web performance, scalability, HTTP, TCP/IP, and DNS.
• Experience with scripting, in languages such as Bash, Python, and Golang is a plus.
• Familiarity with modern Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

• Experience with Varnish Cache and its configuration language.
• Knowledge of CDN operations and web security tools (e.g., WAF).
• Comfort with technical presentations and customer‑facing engagements.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, with a focus on ISP operations, routing, peering, and traffic optimization.
• Experience working with large‑scale network architectures and troubleshooting performance issues in high‑traffic environments.
