Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Data Engineer with expertise in Matillion and Snowflake, focused on building robust ETL processes and scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate will be experienced in integrating data from diverse sources and preferably possess a background in healthcare and EHR systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Matillion
• Build, optimize, and manage data pipelines for integration from databases, APIs, files, and streaming sources
• Work with Snowflake to manage, query, and analyze large datasets
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable data solutions
• Ensure data quality and integrity across systems and throughout the data lifecycle
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and pipeline failures
• Maintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement in data engineering processes

• Strong hands-on experience with Matillion
• Solid expertise in ETL design, implementation, and best practices
• Experience integrating data from various sources (databases, files, APIs, streaming)
• Proficient in Snowflake and data warehousing concepts
• Strong understanding of data pipeline architecture and cloud data ecosystems
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

• Experience working with EHR systems and healthcare data
• Familiarity with other ETL tools and data integration technologies
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
