The Cloud Architect will lead the ongoing evolution and optimization of our existing cloud environment. This role demands a deep understanding of cloud platforms, infrastructure, and services, with a focus on translating evolving business needs into scalable, secure, and cost‑effective cloud solutions. The role will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure our cloud infrastructure remains aligned with strategic goals.

Must be fluent in AWS cloud infrastructure; multiple cloud technologies is a plus.

• Develop and maintain the organization’s cloud strategy and roadmap.
• Design and architect cloud‑based solutions that meet business requirements.
• Analyze existing cloud architectures and identify areas for improvement.
• Evaluate and integrate new cloud services and technologies into the existing environment.
• Create detailed architecture diagrams and documentation.
• Lead the ongoing management and refinement of our existing cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Ensure cloud solutions are continuously optimized for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Automate cloud infrastructure management and optimization using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Oversee cloud environment updates and migrations with minimal disruption.
• Design and implement site reliability, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Oversee cloud migrations.
• Monitor cloud performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Implement cost optimization strategies.
• Manage cloud security and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud‑related issues.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams.
• Communicate cloud concepts and best practices to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship.
• Ensure cloud solutions adhere to industry best practices and compliance requirements.
• Implement security controls and monitoring.
• Participate in security audits and risk assessments.
• Stay up‑to‑date on emerging cloud technologies and trends.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field, or experience.
