As an IT Systems Technician Lead
, you will lead a team of systems technicians to ensure the stability, security, and optimal performance of our IT systems. You will collaborate with other IT teams, analyze system requirements, and implement solutions to meet organizational needs. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to system administration.
- Mentor a team of IT System Technicians, providing guidance and fostering a positive work environment.
- Coordinate and prioritize tasks to ensure timely resolution of system‑related issues.
- Provide guidance on complex technical challenges and support team members in professional development.
- Participate in team meetings, sharing insights and contributing to collaborative problem solving.
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, workstations, and related infrastructure.
- Ensure security and integrity of systems through proactive monitoring, patch management, and vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement and enforce security policies and protocols.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and resolve escalated system‑related issues.
- Provide hands‑on technical support for end‑users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Manage and prioritize incoming support requests to meet established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with other IT teams to escalates and resolve complex technical issues.
- Work with cross‑functional teams to assess system requirements and implement solutions to enhance performance and reliability.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

- Bachelor’s degree in Information, Computer Science, or related field.
- Administering user accounts, groups, and organizational units within Active Directory.
- Configuring Manage Engine ADManager.
- Implementing and managing Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, configuration, and compliance.
- Managing and supporting MacOS devices with JAMF MDM.
- Comfortable troubleshooting both Mac and Windows operating systems.
- Supporting and optimizing video conferencing platforms.
- Familiarity with the Service Now platform for ticketing and workflow management.
- Automation using Power Shell scripting.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services.
- Proven experience in a similar role with a track record of leading IT support teams.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, rapidly evolving environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to modern technologies.
- Excellent collaboration and communication with technical and non‑technical users.
