Responsibilities- Application and Database Management
- Oversee and maintain databases and applications supporting critical systems.
- Ensure database and application performance, security, and reliability through ongoing monitoring and maintenance.
- Write SQL queries to validate data integrity and support troubleshooting efforts.
- Support program maintenance and updates for ITMS and VTP (Vehicle Tracking Portal).
- Data Monitoring and Quality Assurance
- Monitor and manage data related to the vehicle location management system.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy through rigorous quality assurance practices.
- Vehicle Tracking Device Management
- Maintain accurate tracking records for vehicle locations – data integrity checking.
- Monitor device performance and coordinate timely maintenance and repairs.
- Technical Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in web and mobile applications.
- Leverage expertise in Java programming and database management to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- User Requirements Coordination
- Gather user requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Collaborate with system development teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Vendor Maintenance Coordination
- Coordinate with external vendors on maintenance tasks.
- Submit repair requests and ensure timely resolution of issues without engaging in contract negotiations.
- Continuous Improvement
- Continuously evaluate and enhance technical processes to boost system efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Implement best practices for application performance tuning and debugging.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
$86,000 – $96,000 per year (subject to compensation study upon candidate selection).

- DB programming experience (PL/SQL or T‑SQL) – required.
- Java, .NET, C#, JavaScript, Type Script, HTML, CSS, SQL, DOM, Git/SVN – required.
- In‑depth knowledge and understanding of Java and Java EE – required.
- Excellent business analysis, test planning, activity planning – required.
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies – required.
- Good written and verbal communication skills – required.
- Understanding and extensive knowledge of logistics industry concepts – preferred.
- Familiarity with network and GPS communication technologies – preferred.
- Bachelor's degree – required.
- 6 – 9 years of direct experience in information technology – required.
- 7 – 11 years of direct experience in information technology – preferred.
- Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or a computer for long periods.
- Able to travel on rare occasions.
- Possibility of domestic and international travel – 5%.
- Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing.
- Lift up to 20 lbs; carry up to 20 lbs.
- Stand/walk.
