Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Business Analyst for a leading client in the insurance services industry to address a critical backlog of software enhancement requests. This role serves as a key bridge between stakeholders and internal development teams, requiring a proactive, analytical professional skilled in interviewing stakeholders, gathering requirements, and documenting workflows using tools like Visio or Lucidchart. The client operates as a Managing General Agent, administering policies for carriers and leveraging proprietary software integrated with APIs to pull third-party data.

Responsibilities include managing and prioritizing enhancement requests, tracking tickets in Azure Dev Ops (originating in SharePoint), performing cost-benefit and data analyses, and supporting improvements to internal software and reporting tools. The position also involves working with Power BI dashboards to understand data requirements, handling 4–6 tickets weekly for quick data requests and requirement gathering, and collaborating closely with technical teams to ensure accurate implementation.

This dynamic role demands someone who can think quickly, solve complex technical puzzles, and make an immediate impact.

• Proficiency with Visio or Lucidchart for flowcharting
