As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will design and maintain reporting, dashboards, and self‑service analytics that enable data‑driven decision making across Viant’s operations. You will support automated data processes and analytical workflows for recurring business use cases, and you will also apply emerging AI capabilities to build data agents that help surface insights, answer questions, and augment analysis where appropriate. Your work focuses on delivering clear, actionable insights that improve operational efficiency and business performance.
Day‑to‑DayResponsibilities
- Work closely with key stakeholders to create automated & ad-hoc reporting to support pre, mid and post‑campaign deliverables.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to develop clear, actionable insights and present findings through reports, dashboards, visualizations, and AI data agents.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis and performance trends to improve campaign delivery and outcomes.
- Design and maintain self‑service analytical tools that enable stakeholders to explore data and answer recurring business questions independently.
- Support automated data processes and analytical workflows for ongoing operational and reporting needs.
- Apply emerging AI capabilities to augment analysis and help surface insights or answer questions more efficiently.
- Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance data quality, reporting efficiency, and alignment with business needs.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data and reporting outputs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional experience with SQL and Google Big Query, including the ability to write, optimize, and maintain complex queries.
- Proficiency in Tableau with experience building scalable dashboards and self‑service reporting.
- Experience working in Databricks or similar cloud‑based analytics platforms.
- Experience in digital advertising, programmatic media, or marketing analytics environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate data into clear insights.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify trends and draw data‑driven conclusions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and shifting priorities.

Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $65,000 – $75,000 per year (California baseline).
