Business Systems Analyst

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Business Systems Analyst to support asset management initiatives within a financial services environment. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology and requires deep domain knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex business needs into well‑defined technical requirements. You’ll partner closely with stakeholders across trading, portfolio management, operations, and engineering to drive delivery of high‑impact solutions.

• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements
• Support the end‑to‑end order and trade lifecycle, including pre‑trade analysis, execution, and post‑trade processing
• Own and refine product backlogs, participate in backlog grooming sessions, and work closely with engineering teams to support delivery
• Leverage Agile methodologies and project management tools to drive execution and ensure timely delivery
• Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation to support reporting and informed decision‑making
• Produce clear documentation, presentations, and artifacts to communicate progress and requirements to senior stakeholders
• Act as a trusted partner to the business by identifying process improvements and solution enhancements

• Strong experience within Asset Management
  , including Portfolio Management, Trading, Confirmation & Settlement, and Regulatory or Client Reporting
• Solid understanding of financial instruments, with a preference for Fixed Income products
• Deep knowledge of the order and trade lifecycle across front, middle, and back office
• Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and document requirements through direct engagement with business users
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data analysis (required); exposure to Python is a plus
• Self‑starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross‑functional teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
