Operations Specialist, Global Network Operations Center

Our client, Global Technology Operations organization is seeking a Operations Specialist, Global Network Operations Center to join their team. As a Operations Specialist, Global Network Operations Center, you will be part of the Operations organization supporting Global Network Operations Center (GNOC) operations. The ideal candidate will have strong systems and network troubleshooting skills, a proactive incident response mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement through data-driven monitoring and documentation updates, which will align successfully in the organization.

Monitor inbound communications from all streams to ensure player-impacting incidents are identified and tracked Use systems, networking, and cloud knowledge as a first responder to triage issues and improve detection accuracy Drive player and user impacting issues to resolution through effective investigation, mitigation, and follow-through Perform routine follow-ups on active incidents to ensure resolution is progressing as expected Adjust alert triggers and correlation patterns to reduce false positives and improve signal quality

Hands-on experience with Linux (bash, debugging, tuning) and comfort working with logs and metrics during incidents Strong networking fundamentals for triage and mitigation (packet loss, routing, ACLs) and the ability to process access and maintenance requests Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch/Kibana, Datadog, Cloud Watch, GCP Operations, or Logic Monitor Familiarity with alert correlation platforms (for example Big Panda, Science Logic, Tivoli/Netcool) and the ability to tune monitoring for better outcomes Ability to review, correct, and tune operational documentation (runbooks, troubleshooting guides, user guides, processes, and procedures) and communicate clearly with stakeholders during outages
