About the Team VIZIO’s award winning Legal team is seeking a Privacy Program Specialist to join their Privacy team. The successful candidate will have a background in privacy with relevant industry background. What You Will Do Monitor, research and interpret the various data privacy laws, regulations, contractual obligations and industry best practices relating to data privacy and our product compliance obligations.
Partner with commercial counsel and procurement to provide privacy subject-matter support for commercial agreements and vendor management. Enhance the existing privacy program, policies, procedures and guidelines for data privacy and our product compliance obligations to continually improve our compliance posture. Produce and/or update data maps Vendor privacy assessment reviews Coordinate internal assessments to test privacy and security controls within the company.
Work with business groups to maintain data governance documentation. Carry out privacy impact assessments and other product compliance assessments consistent with our privacy program and other compliance procedures and guidelines. Respond to consumer requests for access, correction, or deletion. Other duties as assigned About You 2+ years of privacy or related professional experience 2+ years of program management expertise Experience in online privacy or related field - Privacy certifications preferred (e.g. CIPP, CIPT, or CIPM).
One Trust experience preferred Experience working for technology companies, in-house privacy teams, or consulting firms. Experience managing large-scale cross-functional programs

The minimum hourly rate for this role is $32.69/hr the maximum hourly rate for this position $50/hr the compensation package includes the annual bonus in addition to a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.
