Financial Services Litigation Associate Attorney - Irvine
Stinson LLP seeks an Associate Attorney with two to five years of financial services litigation experience to join our Irvine, California office. Duties include file management, motion practice, courtroom opportunities, depositions, alternative dispute resolution, and trial preparation.
Responsibilities- Analyze, organize, and draft pleadings (e.g., demurrers, motions to dismiss, motions to strike, discovery motions, summary judgment motions)
- Proficiency in e‑discovery and fact development
- Propound and respond to written discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Appear in state and federal courts in case management conferences, motions and other pre‑trial matters
- Familiarity with RFDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, UCC, EFTA, TILA, and UCL/UDAP
- Use strategic and analytical skills to address client challenges, both legally and economically
- Active California license
- Excellent writing, oral advocacy skills, and academics
- Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and client‑service skills
- Self‑motivated and eager to take ownership of a caseload, with a team‑oriented approach
- Ability to prioritize and manage urgent tasks with high competence and accuracy
The role requires a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, a willingness to learn, strong initiative and ambition, and a desire to handle a challenging workload.

Compensation & BenefitsBase salary: $195,000 – $215,000; discretionary merit bonus based on performance; signing bonus may be available. Benefits include:
