Job Overview
A nationally recognized top-tier law firm is seeking a highly motivated Energy Transactions Associate to join its Energy, Environmental, and Infrastructure practice in Irvine, California. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex transactional work across renewables, oil and gas, and natural resources within a sophisticated law firm environment known for high-quality deal work and client service.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage complex energy and natural resources transactional matters, including M&A and project development
• Handle renewable energy transactions, including joint ventures and commercial agreements
• Work on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts for renewable energy facilities
• Participate in financing transactions within the energy and infrastructure sector
• Contribute to oil and gas transactional matters as needed
• Collaborate closely with partners and clients on multi-faceted energy projects

Qualifications
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in a law firm setting
• Demonstrated experience with renewable energy transactional work
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Bar admission in the state of practice
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
