Associate Attorney - Construction Law

We are looking for a full-time associate with 2-5 years of experience in California construction law, including construction defect, construction litigation, mechanics liens, drafting/reviewing construction contracts, and/or advice and counsel, to join our office. This role is best suited for candidates looking for an opportunity to expand their litigation skills, and service and grow a longstanding list of contractors throughout California.

* Responsibilities and Duties
* Qualifications and experience include managing a caseload involving construction payment disputes, construction defect litigation and insurance defense matters. This will involve conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and other legal documents. You will also attend hearings, depositions, trials, and mediations to represent clients and ensure their best possible outcomes. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, excellent oral advocacy and written communication skills will be an important part of your duties.

Kring & Associates offers a competitive compensation package, including base salary of $ - $ per year and reasonable billing requirements, both commensurate with experience. We offer a number of bonus programs tailored to each attorneys’ goals and capabilities.

This position will be in office in Irvine, CA during an initial training period. Thereafter, flexible work arrangements, including hybrid/remote schedules will be available for attorneys demonstrating appropriate productivity, communication, and time management.
