Job Summary
We are looking for a medical and pharmaceutical procurement professional whose primary responsibility is to secure reliable access to products that our licensed pharmacy can purchase
. This individual should have experience working directly with pharmaceutical or medical distributors and understand how to onboard new pharmacies, obtain pricing and availability, and manage ongoing supplier relationships. The role is focused on sourcing
, knowing who to contact, which products are realistically obtainable, and how to navigate pricing structures, allocation constraints, and lead times.
In addition, the Inventory & Procurement Specialist (Medical & Pharmaceutical) will manage stock levels, coordinate vendor orders, track shipments, and ensure supply continuity. This is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and experienced working with regulated medical or pharmaceutical products
, distributor ordering systems, and inventory control processes.
- Monitor stock levels across warehouses and reorder inventory to meet demand
- Generate purchase orders and track open orders with suppliers
- Maintain accurate records in ERP/inventory systems
- Assist with vendor sourcing, pricing negotiations, and lead time verification
- Conduct physical inventory audits and cycle counts
- Coordinate incoming shipments and update receiving logs
- Collaborate with operations and sales teams to forecast inventory needs
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, packing lists, and delivery schedules
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in inventory control or procurement roles involving medical, pharmaceutical, or healthcare-related products
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory systems (Net Suite, Quick Books, Fishbowl, etc.)
- Ability to read and manage purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips
- Detail-oriented with strong Excel and record-keeping skills
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and basic warehouse operations
- Experience with industrial, healthcare product categories, or pharmaceutical distributors
- Familiarity with vendor contract terms and freight coordination
- Exposure to healthcare compliance or documentation standards
- Bilingual a plus (English/Spanish or English/Mandarin)
- Certification in inventory control or procurement a plus (e.g., CPIM, CPP)
