CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

Position Summary

Level Two CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift at Precision Castparts. Operates 2–5 axis CNC/Automated machine cells, performs basic machine setup and inspection tasks, maintains product quality, meets production demands.

• Operate CNC machines, perform basic machine setup including fixtures, cutting tools and CNC programs.
• Maintain product quality by monitoring and adjusting CNC offsets as needed.
• Perform intermediate inspection tasks using advanced inspection tools and drawings.
• Run production on multiple machines at once, meeting production demands.

• Identify and load fixtures with minimal assistance.
• Apply and adjust G and M codes in CNC offsets and programs.
• Read basic shop math, tool geometry and basic geometry.
• Read basic prints in English and apply dimensional specifications to inspection processes.

• At least 2–4 years of machining experience.
• Evidence of success in Level One machining duties for at least one year before promotion or hire.

• GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.

Shift 2: 2:15PM – 10:45PM.

Hourly $23.50 – $35.25. Eligible for Company Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan (1X bonus multiple). 80 hours paid time off, 10 paid holidays, medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance. 401k plan.
