CNC Machinist

Seeking CNC Machinist to build prototype and low volume production of precision aerospace components. You will be responsible for machine programming and machining operations, including developing and building required tooling.

You should be able to operate independently with minimal direction in a fast-paced, dynamic, highly technical environment, work collaboratively with engineering, and be comfortable in a start-up environment. The position offers opportunities for growth and personal development.

• Develop CNC programs in Fusion 360
• Devise machining approach and necessary tooling
• Operate and manage CNC and other precision machining equipment
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Develop and implement mechanical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns. Document processes and maintain mechanical service records.
• Troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, performing repairs when possible.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to refine requirements and align on project needs.

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of CNC vertical machining centers (preferably Haas).
• Experience with Fusion 360 CNC programming.
• 5+ years of shop experience with at least 2+ years on CNC vertical machining centers.
• Sound organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to perform duties outside regular business hours when necessary.
• Comfortable working autonomously or within a team.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
