Maintenance Technician – Irvine, CA
Pay: $27.00 per hour
Schedule: Flexible shifts between 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
Job OverviewWe are hiring a Maintenance Technician to support equipment assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting within a medical device manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on role ideal for candidates with mechanical experience who are comfortable working with tools, equipment, and automated systems.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble, test, repair, and maintain equipment and electromechanical systems
- Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures
- Read and interpret drawings and work instructions
- Perform equipment setup, preventive maintenance, and inspections
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with root cause analysis
- Support installation and startup of new automation equipment
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting
- Document maintenance activities using computer‑based systems
- Communicate effectively and work independently with attention to detail
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of hands‑on experience using hand tools
- Manufacturing, construction, HVAC, automotive, or maintenance experience preferred
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
