2nd Shift Laser Welder

2nd Shift Laser Welder - will train. Need someone with previous machine operator or assembly experience.

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker with machine operating experience to join our team. This role involves operating machinery, cross-training in various production areas, and adapting to different work site locations as needed. This position requires the ability to train on the first shift for 1-2 months before transitioning to the second shift.

• Operate and maintain production machines and equipment.
• Cross-train in areas such as dressing, packaging, painting, grinding, CET printing, and stamping.
• Assist in laser welding, ensuring the quality of welded products.
• Perform radius grinding, material picking, laser welding, open arbor cutting, and laser stamping.
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a keen eye for detail.
• Communicate effectively in English and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.

• 1 year of machine operator experience.
• Ability to lift 35-50 lbs.
• Comfortable using eye loupe, deburr tools, and microscope for inspection.
• Experience in general labor, packaging, production, and hand tool use.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Flexibility to adapt to various production roles and tasks.
• Good attitude and attention to detail.

Our facility employs 120 people across first and second shifts. Personal protective equipment, including steel-toed shoes and safety glasses, is mandatory. The warehouse environment has erratic temperature control and is subject to heat, cold, noise, dust, and other particles. Employees will frequently lift up to 35 lbs and may stand or sit for extended periods, performing repetitive bending, reaching, and climbing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
