The Baker Assistant at PADERIA supports daily bakery production by preparing ingredients, assisting with product assembly, and performing essential production tasks. The primary goal of the Baker Assistant is to uphold product quality, consistency, and food safety while supporting efficient production and smooth bakery operations.

• Assist with low level production tasks like cookie shaping and cutting or trimming egg tart shells while maintaining consistency and quality standards.
• Measure and prepare a variety of baked goods such as cookies, brioches, cheesecakes, egg tarts, puddings, fillings, butter creams and more.
• Use bakery equipment and tools to combine and cook ingredients according to specifications.
• Handle, store, and label food properly to meet all safety and code requirements.
• Support the front of house as needed with packaging and providing quality service.
• Help with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the workspace at Privé and other locations.
• Move with urgency and keep up with production standards.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and frequent walking, bending, and reaching.
• Open availability, including weekdays and weekends, is required. Extra hours may be needed during holidays.

• Be a morning person!
• General baking experience and passion.
• Ability to taste and evaluate products, as needed.
• Certified knowledge of Food Handling and Food Safety.
• Exceptional communication, literacy and numeracy skills.
• Have strong merchandising, retail operations, purchasing, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to operate machinery, tools, and equipment properly and safely.
