Junior Financial Copywriter

Overview

We’re hiring a Junior Financial Copywriter to join our marketing team at 1031 Crowdfunding
. This full-time, in-office role blends creative content development with marketing coordination to help communicate our brand message and investment expertise to a sophisticated audience of investors and financial professionals.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer who can translate complex financial concepts into clear, compelling, and compliant marketing content. You’ll support our content marketing strategy, assist with campaign execution, and ensure consistent messaging across digital channels.

• Content Creation: Draft, edit, and proofread marketing materials including emails, blog posts, web pages, investment overviews, and social media posts.
• Brand Voice & Messaging: Maintain consistency of tone, clarity, and compliance across all written materials.
• Content Distribution: Assist in publishing and distributing content across the company website, social media, and email platforms.
• SEO & Optimization: Collaborate with the content and digital teams to optimize copy for search and engagement.
• Administrative Support: Manage content calendars, coordinate review processes, and assist with campaign logistics.
• Market Research: Support the marketing team with research on financial trends, competitors, and investor needs to inform content strategy.

• Strong writing and editing skills with excellent attention to grammar and style.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and digital publishing tools (e.g., Word Press, Hub Spot).
• Basic understanding of marketing automation and CRM systems is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
• Interest in finance, investments, or real estate.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, English, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience writing or producing content (preferably in financial services, investments, or real estate).
• Strong research skills and ability to simplify complex topics for different audiences.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.

• Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)
• Benefits: 401(k), health/dental/vision insurance, HSA, paid time off and holidays
• Schedule: Full-time, in-person (Irvine, CA office)
