Verovian Nursing Recruitment Agency is seeking an RN Charge Nurse - Emergency to lead and oversee emergency department operations during night shifts in Irvine, CA. The Charge Nurse will provide clinical leadership, direct patient care, and operational oversight to ensure high‑quality emergency care and patient safety. This role requires expertise in acute care nursing with experience in mental health and wellness patients.
Responsibilities- Oversee and direct emergency department activities during assigned shifts.
- Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Assist in determining work priorities, assessments, care planning, and coordination.
- Regularly perform direct patient care responsibilities as a Registered Nurse.
- Support the manager in staff development, operational efficiency, and leadership duties.
- Participate in marketing initiatives, community outreach, and leadership engagement.
- Provide guidance in resolving operational and patient care challenges.
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current California Registered Nurse License (upon hire)
- National Provider BLS Certification – American Heart Association (upon hire)
- Three (3) years of RN clinical experience in an acute care setting
- Six (6) months of recent clinical experience with mental health and wellness patients
- Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing
- LPS training coursework
- One (1) year of leadership experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting
