Clinical Nurse III - ETC, Nights

City of Hope is seeking experienced nurses for our 8-bed Evaluation and Treatment Center (ETC) at City of Hope Orange County Cancer Specialty Hospital. In this role, you will provide compassionate care to oncology patients requiring urgent evaluation and intervention, addressing acute symptoms and oncologic emergencies.

• Utilize the nursing process and practice standards as a framework for patient care management.
• Assess patient conditions, recognize early signs of complications, and coordinate escalation of care with inpatient, outpatient, and palliative teams.
• Administer specialized medications, monitor treatment responses, and manage central lines and infusion devices.
• Document patient care using the clinical information system and apply appropriate principles for documentation accuracy.
• Prioritize holistic care, addressing patients’ physical and emotional needs.
• Mentor and serve as a role model for new staff members.
• Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel as appropriate.
• Integrate City of Hope Professional Practice Model to deliver service excellence.
• Carry out the nursing process, coordinate interdisciplinary care planning, and document according to standards, validating patient and caregiver understanding of the plan and expected outcomes.
• Act as a change agent committed to lifelong learning, professional development, and embodying City of Hope’s mission, values, and nursing profession ethos.
• Shift: Nights
• Eligible for a night shift differential up to $6.50/hr and a weekend differential up to $15.60/hr.
• Multiple positions available.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 3–5 years of related experience (urgent care, emergency room, and/or ICU).
• Current California Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• ONS certification highly preferred.

Base pay range: $61.00/hr – $89.00/hr.
City of Hope employees’ pay is based on experience, qualifications, and work location.
