Level III Staff RN - Irvine; Alton​/Sand Canyon; Ambulatory Infusion - Per Diem

The Level III Staff RN provides professional nursing care in an ambulatory infusion setting, leading the healthcare team and ensuring quality patient care in accordance with established standards and policies.

  Per Diem, Day shift (11:00 AM - 7:30 PM)

• Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
• Serve as a leader of the healthcare team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and optimal pain control.
• Document nursing processes and interventions accurately.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to workplace safety principles.
• Practice customer service standards and ensure patient confidentiality.

Education:

• Registered Nurse License (California)

Experience:

• 1-year recent experience in acute care, ambulatory care, or home health/palliative/hospice care

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support certification required
• PICC didactic course and recent PICC insertion experience required
• Current ONS Provider Card or APHON required if administering chemotherapy
