HIRING!!!!!!! $23-24/HR - 1st Shift Quality Assurance Inspector - Medical Device Job Description

Join our team as a Quality Assurance Inspector on the 1st shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with opportunities for overtime on Saturdays starting at 5 am. We are seeking candidates with 2-4 years of experience but are open to those with 1-2 years of experience. Your role will involve verifying labels, conducting quality control on packages, and documenting data in our system.

You will work with minimal supervision to support the quality department through inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished products, including product validation testing.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the inspection of product returns.
  • Perform and document testing according to test protocols.
  • Generate NCR for non-conforming materials and assemblies.
  • Perform and document incoming inspections according to drawing specifications.
  • Perform label and IFU inspections as required according to inspection procedures.
  • Review manufacturing-related paperwork in Device History Records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Utilize Visual Inspection Systems and other inspection tools (tensile strength machines/calipers/pin gages/etc.) per inspection requirements.
  • Coordinate with production personnel to perform in-process and finished product inspections in a cleanroom environment and within production schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Hands‑on experience with raw materials.
  • Strong quality control and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and systems.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • Must have Medical Device QA Experience.
  • Ability to work with RMAs.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of receiving inspection experience in a regulated industry.
  • Blueprint reading skills.
  • Experience working with small parts, particularly catheters.
  • Experience in medical device or similar regulated industries such as aerospace.

The position is based in a manufacturing setting, specifically in the Receiving room where you will work 100% of the time alongside a team of 8.

This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
