The Role

In this field sales organization, Account Executives are key players with a net new revenue focus. They guide new customers on a journey from legacy platforms to a new class of enterprise management cloud.

Responsibilities
  • Drive complex sales cycles by orchestrating internal teams of pre‑sales, value management, bid management, inside sales, marketing, and sales support.
  • Utilize consultative selling skills to initiate long‑standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors.
  • Develop strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in assigned territory.
  • Provide input to product strategy and build partnership with senior leadership.
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud‑based ERP/HCM/Financial/Planning/Analytics solutions to C‑levels from a field sales position.
  • 8+ years experience collaborating with internal teams (pre‑sales, value, inside sales) to achieve quota and run multiple deals at once.
  • 8+ years experience managing long sales cycles end to end and nurturing the relationship throughout.
  • Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape and ability to position Workday solutions within accounts.
  • Able to quickly establish trust with key stakeholders at the executive level within both existing and new business units.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role‑specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
