Sales Administrator
Job Location:
US-CA-Irvine
- Communicate all details regarding fulfillment of sales orders, including status inquiries and tracking details to sales team
- Obtain all documents needed for sales order processing from sales reps in a timely manner
- Setup customer details in Great Plains, including payment term and tax‑exempt setup requests
- Allocate equipment to pending orders, according to SOP
- Communicate with collections team in regard to customer account balance issues
- Communicate with Red8 operations and purchasing team in regards to backordered items on pending sales orders
- Act as primary back‑up for Red8 accounting personnel during month‑end closing process
- Suggest and help implement improvements to current sales order fulfillment processes and/or controls, including automation and streamlining of existing functions
- Prepare and/or update the daily sales report
- Participate in year‑end audit
- Perform physical tasks within the warehouse environment, including bending, stooping, and lifting weights ranging from 5‑25 pounds, for tasks such as receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of products
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all warehouse personnel
- Support other departments or teams as needed, including assisting in special projects or initiatives
- Moderate proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Access
- Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Great Plains
- Experience with is preferred
- Minimum of 2‑3 years of continuous sales or sales operations experience
- A background in leasing or other finance industry is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required. College Degree preferred
- Must have problem solving and decision‑making abilities, ability to prioritize projects and strong sense of urgency
- Must be highly motivated individual with high level of initiative and an attitude of willingness
- Must be team player willing to assist others at all levels of the organization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to provide superior customer service and maintain cooperative working relationships
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi‑task and work autonomously or with a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively on a one‑on‑one basis or in group setting
