• Postdoctoral scholar positions (Levels 0-IV) for the 2025-26 academic year at the Beckman Laser Institute, University of California, Irvine.
• Candidate should possess the ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting.
• Experience in molecular biology and cell culture is desirable.
• Seeking qualified candidates with experience in the following biomedical engineering fields:
• Biomedical photonics/optoelectronics
• Biomedical nano- and microscale systems/fabrication
• Biomedical computation/modeling
• Biomolecular and cellular engineering
• Biomaterials
• Tissue/regenerative engineering
• Neuroengineering
• Systems biology
• Cardiovascular engineering
• These positions require a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, electrical or optical engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, or biology, or an M.D. or foreign equivalent.
• Positions are contingent upon extramural funding. Initial appointments are for two years, renewal based on performance and funding. The total duration of postdoctoral service may not exceed five years.
