As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Security in Irvine, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in retail/mall environments. You will monitor and patrol locations, deter security-related incidents, provide customer service, and support a welcoming environment. Your responsibilities include driving as part of your duties and responding to incidents. This position is part-time.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas.
• Document and report unusual activity, incidents, or concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed.
• Offer assistance and directions to visitors, tenants, and employees.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific policies and procedures.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required per federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal history considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required before employment.
