Position Summary:

This posting is for individuals with at least one year of experience in a Maintenance Trade (Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrician, HVAC, etc.) interested in a substitute position with IUSD. Under the supervision of an assigned supervisor, the Utility Substitute performs a variety of custodial, grounds, maintenance, warehouse and security duties as assigned by the position; assists with maintaining the cleanliness, repair, sanitary and secure condition of schools and administrative spaces;

and serves as an on‑call substitute.

• Serve as an on‑call substitute.

• At least one year of experience in a Maintenance Trade (plumbing, carpentry, electrician, HVAC, etc.).
• Work experience that demonstrates the knowledge and abilities listed above or two or more years of trade experience with sufficient training – preferred.
• Must meet the educational and experience levels as well as any license requirements listed for this position.
